The pomp and circumstance continues with the Totilas-caravan because today was T-Day: the arrival of Totilas at Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff's Schafhof in Kronberg and tons of (German) press and TV-stations were invited to cover the happy arrival and the first training session "at home".
After a 350 kilometer drive from Paul Schockemohle's breeding station in Mühlen, Germany, to Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff's paradise in Kronberg, Totilas was unloaded from the brand new Ketterer lorry and got acquainted with his beautiful stall. Afterwards Matthias Rath surprisingly decided to train Toto at home for the first time in front of the press, instead of opting for a relaxed and private first training session at home.
The most relevant and news-worthy item of the day was the announcement of the show debut, since their initial debut at the CDI Hagen was cancelled due to a hoof sore. Trainer Klaus Martin Rath has selected the CDI Munich (2 - 5 June) as debut, followed by a start at the CDI Wiesbaden (10 - 13 June). The next show will be the mandatory German Dressage Championships, if Rath wishes to qualify himself for the German Dressage Team that will compete at the 2011 European Championships in Rotterdam. Rath needs to score at least 64% twice with two different O-judges, who are not German, to be able to ride in Rotterdam. If everything goes according to plan, Totilas will also compete at the CDIO Aachen (14 - 17 July)
