Eurodressage's German photo correspondent Barbara Schnell attended the 2011 CDI Lingen on 20 - 22 May 2011 and sent us the following selection of photos from this event. The most remarkable story to Barbara was the one of Fürst Khevenhüller, the former Bundeschampion who made his return to the show ring at small tour level after surviving three colic operations.
They celebrated a marvelous comeback in Lingen. "That horse just wants to live", said Sebastian Langehanenberg, "and it's a rare owner who will try whatever is possible in a case like this. But now he's almost Grand-Prix-ready after a long recovery, and we're all looking forward to his debut in the ring."
Furst Khevenhuller won the Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifier in Lingen and earned the ticket to the finals in Frankfurt in December 2011. The horse is owned by Austrian Sissy Max-Theurer.
