2011 European Junior and Young Riders Championships

The Austrian Equestrian Federation has selected the teams that will represent Austria at the 2011 European Championships for Junior and Young Riders held at Broholm Castle in Gudme, Denmark, on 20 - 24 July 2011. The chef d'equipe, supporting the riders, parents and trainers on the scene, is Diana Wunschek.

Austrian Junior Riders Team:

Franziska Fries - Alassio's Boy
Lisa Maria Kerbler - Donna Rivera
Tamara Michei - Jamiro
Oliver Valenta - Valenta's Rivel

Austrian Young Riders Team:

Lea-Elisabeth Pointinger - Gino
Tatjana Svehla - Donaublick
Timna Zach - Calogero

Cindy van Vugt on the wonderful Brooklyn (by United). Unfortunately the horse failed in submission and contact with the bit despite fantastic basic gaits

Angel Dorado Martinez on the wonderful PRE stallion Manchego. Huge mover with tremendous scope and ground cover in his gaits but he could be more elastic. Could easily have scored higher!

Karolina Mazurek and Believe in Me

Jennifer Sekreve on the super moving Before you Know (by Scandic x Krack C). The stallion was extremely distracted and unattentive to his rider, failing in submission and obedience. Solution? Chop Chop!
