Guenter Seidel will be at the upcoming Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF National Dressage Championships but not in the saddle. Instead he is coming to cheer on all his California friends who will be competing. In an industry where longtime relationships are not the norm, the 20-year association with Guenter Seidel and Dick and Jane Brown has come to an end.
The professional partnership betweeen Seidel and the Browns, for whom he rode exclusively, has spanned three Olympic Games and five World Championships earning them four team bronze and one team silver medal.
"There are many fond memories I have had over the years, and wonderful horses I have had the opportunity to work with because of the Browns," Seidel told DressageDaily. "I truly appreciate all the Browns have done throughout the years for American Dressage and the devotion they have demonstrated for the sport and the team."
