The 4-year old licensed black stallion Di Magic became the price highlight of the 2011 Oldenburg Autumn Elite Auction in Vechta, Germany, on 1 October 2011. The Dimaggio x Rohdiamant stallion sold for 240,000 euro to Bernadette Brune from Monaco after a tough bidding duel with Swiss clients.
Brune also acquired the 3-year old bay Scarletto (by Sandro Hit x Frisbee) for 16,000 euro. "After having tried over fifty horses, I think I have found a dream horse. A real sapphire," Brune commented after buying Di Magic.
Two more young sport horses sold for more than 100,000 euro. The black mare Tausendundeine Nacht (by Don Schufro x Rubinstein x Futuro) sold for 160,000 euro to Australia.
Show jumping clients from Switzerland acquired two top jumpers. The bay stallion N'oubliez Jamais (by Nintender x Calido x Calypso) sold for 150,000 euro while the bay mare Noblesse Oranje (by Nintender x Argentinus x Grannus) sold for 80,000 euro.
Germans paid 95,000 euro for Discovery, a chestnut gelding by Dimaggio x Classiker x Absinth. Russians bought the dark bay mare Sissi (by Sir Donnerhall I x De Niro x Rubinstein I) for 70,000 euro.
There was a lot of interest from abroad for the Oldenburg youngster. Hungarian buyers aquired the bay stallion Son of Glory (by Sorento x Weltmeyer x Magnum) for 60,000 euro, while Belgian clients purchased Sopresso (by Serano Gold x Depardieu x Feiner Stern) for 40,000 euro.
The best selling foal at the 75th elite auction in Vechta was the chestnut colt Dans d'Ecole (by Danone I x Welt Hit II x Noble Roi xx) which sold for 25,000 euro to a Rhineland based client. Totima, a black filly by Totilas x Sandro Hit x Sultan, sold for 24,000 euro to Lone Boegh Henriksen from Denmark.
German clients paid 23,000 euro for the dark bay filly Danmark (by Danone I x Van the Man x Diamond Hit), 22,000 euro for the black colt Derby Favorit (by De Niro x Sandro Hit x Inselfurst), and 22,000 euro for the black colt Der Rubin (by Diarado x Grannus x Ramino). A Swedish buyer acquired the black filly Schwarze Diva (by Sir Donnerhall II x Don Bosco x World Cup III) for 21,000 euro.
