Leo Fritz became the price highlight of the 2011 Equine Elite Auction held at Stable Korenbloem in Weert, The Netherlands, on 29 October 2011. Clients acquired the 11-year old Grand Prix ready horse for 230,000 euro. Leo Fritz is by Londonderry x Gletscher x Imperator.
The second most expensive horse was Zurich, a 7-year old Jazz x Glennridge offspring, ready to go Prix St Georges. He sold well over 100,000 euro. Brentina achieved a knock-down price of 110,000 euro.
The 3-year old Denver (by Zizi Top x Krack C) sold to Sweden for the fourth highest price, while the 3-year old stallion Sensation (by San Dior x Lancer II) achieved a knock down price of 65,000 euro.
The 11-year old Timeless (by Nourejev x Havidoff) sold for 44,000 euro to a Dutch buyer.
The 4-year old Swedish warmblood licensed stallion Cashmir (by Serano Gold x Michelangelo) sold to British WEG team rider Fiona Bigwood. British Rebecca Hughes acquired the 5-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Backstreet (by Iglesias x Welt Hit II).
David Marcus' Canadian apprentice Alexandra Anne bought V.I.P, a 9-year old Prix St Georges level trained Rousseau x Farrington.
Emmelie Scholtens and Christa Laarakkers sold their 3-year old stallion Donaldson (by Westpoint x Flemmingh x Cabochon) at the Equine Elite auction for 24,000 euro
