Hanoverian Breeding News
The German Hanoverian society has created a new award - The Weltmeyer Prize - to honour and celebrate the breeders of young licensed Hanoverian stallions, which have been successful at their stallion performance testing.
At the 2012 Hanoverian Stallion Show for privately owned colts in Verden held on Saturday 4 February 2012, the Hanoverian society handed out the first Weltmeyer prizes to three breeders of young licensed dressage stallions.
The fortunate recipients are:
- Stefan Hermann from Northeim, Germany, for having bred Del Magico (by Dimaggio x Feinbrand)
- Benedicte Meyer from Boudler, Luxembourg, for having bred Spörcken (by Sir Donnerhall x Lauries Crusador xx)
- Erike Lütjen from Grasberg, Germany, for having bred Quasar de Charry (by Quaterback x Wolkentanz I)
