One of Germany's rising Grand Prix horses Unee has switched riders again moving from Switzerland back to Germany to be trained and competed by former European Young Riders' Champion Jessica Werndl.
Swiss O-judge and owner Beatrice Burchler-Keller has entrusted the ride on the Dutch warmblood (by Gribaldi x Dageraad) to Werndl who lives close to Switzerland in Aubenhausen, Germany, South of Munich.
The 12-year old Unee was premium stallion at the South German Licensing and was brought to greatness by the German based Swiss rider Jasmine Sanche-Burger. The combination finished third in the 2010 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals in Frankfurt.
In September 2011 Burchler-Keller decided she wanted to be closer to her horse and relocated him with Swiss Birgit Wientzek-Plage, who spent just five months on the horse.
Unee will now move to Aubenhausen for a new future. "Jessica has often dreamed of Unee, the beautiful black stallion. Now a dream has become reality," the Werndl family stated. "In Aubenhausen preparations for his arrival have been full swing the past few days. Everything is cleaned prim and proper. For Unee a seperation wall was taken out so that he has a double-size box."
