The 3-year old chestnut stallion Overgaard's Zacksu became the price highlight of the auction held at the 2012 Danish warmblood stallion licensing in Herning, Denmark, on 10 March 2012.
The brand new, licensed premium stallion Overgaard's Zacksu (by Zack x Londonderry) sold for 83,391 euro (DKK 620,000) to Danish stallion station Tailormade Horses.
The 3-year-old stallion candidates attracted the most interest from buyers at the 2012 Danish Warmblood Spring Auction, where the horses generated a turnover of DKK 3.6 millions (400,800 euro).
The second highest price of 67,000 euro was achieved by the non-licensed Netstutteriets Bachio (by Don Schufro x Come Back II). Swedish Jan Brink and his business partner purchased the non-licensed K2 Trampolin (by Temptation x Linaro) for 54,000 euro.
Two sons of Heartbeat achieved the highest price among the jumpers and each sold for 27,000 euro.
69% of the auction horses were sold for an average price of DKK 188,421 and generated a total turnover of DKK 3.6 millions - results which all exceed the statistics of last year's auction.
