The 2012 Dutch Indoor Pony Championships have been rescheduled for 6 - 7 April 2012 and relocated to Stable IJsselruiters in Brummen, The Netherlands.
Due to the Equine Herpes Virus' outbreak in the Netherlands the 2012 Dutch Indoor Pony Championships were cancelled but the Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS) immediately worked at finding a new host venue and date for the event because the KNHS equestrian centre in Ermelo is already occupied on the new show dates.
"We looked at all the options and when it turned out that the KNHS centre was already host for a few big horse events, we looked for a good alternature. It's very important for the equestrian sport that the Indoor Championships take place. Fortunately we found an excellent alternative location in Stable Ijsselruiters in Brummen, so the competition can go on," said KNHS director John Bierling.
The FEI pony level division of the Dutch Indoor championship takes place on Saturday 7 April.
