Ten stallions were approved for breeding for the Hanoverian society at the 2012 Hanoverian Under Saddle Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany, on 19 April 2012.
Two stallions were proclaimed premium stallions: Paul Schockemohle's chestnut Don Frederic (by Don Frederico x Wolkentanz) and a Florencio x De Niro offspring. The recent auction price highlight Senza Limiti (by Stakkato x Don Juan) was also approved.
Seven dressage stallions were licensed. The licensed stallions are:

- nn (by Florencio – De Niro) - Zuchthof Fries
- nn (by Comte – Escudo II) - Peter Mahler
- Senza Limiti (by Stakkato x Don Juan) - Bernfried Erdm
- Messenger (by Montender – Baloubet de Rouet) - Deckstation Schockemöhle
- Rousseau Noir (by Rousseau – Del Piero) - Gestüt Tannenhof (video right)
- All Inclusive (by Gribaldi – Buddenbrock) - Gestüt Tasdorf
- Desiderio (by Dimaggio – Donnerhall) - Ingo Pape
- Rubinio (by Rubin-Royal – Florestan) - Jürgen and Jennifer Hoffmann
The Westfalian bred Rubinio has also been bestowed with the suffix NRW for his remarkable sucesses in the show ring, including his recent top placings at his international small tour debut in Stadl Paura.
