Adelinde Cornelissen's 15-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Parzival (by Jazz x Ulft) passed the re-inspection this morning at 9 am and is allowed to defend her title at the 2012 World Cup Finals in Den Bosch.
Cornelissen rode her horse for a small hour before the vet check, starting out with walk and canter before heading to the main arena where she practised some piaffe, tempi changes and pirouettes. She then returned to the smaller warm up ring next to the paddock where the vet check would take place (on show footing that was rolled for the occasion).
Five minutes before the jog she stopped cantering, walked her horse to the stable area where he was untacked and bridled with a snaffle. She practised a trot up twice and then went straight to the official vet check to jog him there. The horse looks fit and level upon presentation.
The World Cup Grand Prix starts at 12.00h at noon.
