German O-judge Dr. Evi Eisenhardt is succeeding Klaus Martin Rath as dressage selector for the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR). Eisenhardt was voted on the selection committee at the annual General Assembly of the German Equestrian Federation.

Eisenhardt replaces Rath who stepped down in 2011 due to time constraints. In 2013 she will take over Rath's task in the work group for dressage youth selection.

Eisenhardt has been longer involved with the development of the youth riders program in Germany. She is a board member of the Liselott Schindling Foundation, which organized the Under 25 circuit in Germany (Piaff Forderpreis) and the upcoming young Grand Prix horse circuit (Louisdor Prize)

A medical doctor by profession, Eisenhardt  started in dressage early in her life, winning her first S-level test as a 16-year old and earned her Golden Rider Badge as an 18-year old. The now 59-year old is one of the judges on the 2012 Olympic Games' panel.
