The FEI Bureau allocated a total of 23 Continental Championships (2012-2015) during its meeting at FEI Headquarters in Lausanne (SUI) on 8 June 2012.
The following dressage championships were allocated for 2013:
- Americas Championships for Young Riders, Juniors, Pre-Juniors & Children, Rosario (ARG), 17-22 September.
The following dressage championships were allocated for 2014 - 2015:
- European Dressage Championships for Young Riders & Juniors, Arezzo (ITA), 9-13 July 2014.
- World Championships for Young Horses, Verden (GER), 6-10 August 2014 and 5-9 August 2015.
- World Cup Jumping and Dressage Finals, Guadalajara (MEX), 2015 dates to be confirmed
- European Championships in Jumping, Dressage, Driving, Vaulting and Reining, Aachen (GER), 17-30 August 2015.
“The bids to host the 2015 FEI World Cup™ Jumping and Dressage Finals from Guadalajara and Las Vegas, which has hosted the FEI World Cup Jumping and Dressage Finals in the past, were both very strong. We were extremely happy to see that the bid from Guadalajara was much improved since they withdrew their application for the 2014 edition. The FEI Bureau is also happy that the World Cup Finals will travel outside the traditional continents to Central America when it goes to Guadalajara in 2015,” said Ingmar de Vos, FEI Secretary General.
Information on the wider outcomes from the spring FEI Bureau meeting, at which key items for proposals to the General Assembly were agreed, will be made available next week.
