British Dressage News
Following a final pre-European team camp training session on the weekend of 8 - 10 June 2012, the British selectors were able to nominate the definite teams that will represent Great Britain at the 2012 European Junior and Young Riders Championships in Berne, Switzerland, on 11 - 15 July 2012.
The British Junior Riders team includes:
- Jessica Gale (16) - Umbro S, an 11-year old Dutch warmblood gelding by Jazz
- Claire Gallimore (18) - Daniolo, a 12-year old Oldenburg gelding by Don Primero
- Gaby Lucas (16) - Laurentius, a 14-year old Hanoverian gelding by Lauries Crusador xx
- Abigail Slater (17) - Lou Wega, a 14-year old Westfalian gelding by Lamoureux II
The reserves are 17-year old Jessica Knapton on Remarkable (by Royal Diamond) and the 14-year old Joanna Thurman-Baker on Highcliffe Apollo (by Der Lenz).
The British Young Riders team is constituted by:
- Alex Hardwick (21) - Calvin G, a 9-year old Hanoverian gelding by Contendro
- Roberta Hayler (20) - Active Walero, a 21-year old Hanoverian gelding by Wanderer
- Pippa Hutton (18) - Duela , a 10-year old Hanoverian mare by Dimaggio
- Olivia Oakeley (19) - Donna Summer, an 11-year old Hanoverian gelding by Dimaggio
The reserve is the 18-year old Eilidh Grant on Comanche Crumble (by Cassander).
