The 3-year Swiss warmblood bred mare Show Girl was named champion of the 2012 Swiss Warmblood Elite Mare Show held in Avenches, Switzerland, on 20 - 22 July 2012.
Show Girl was named dressage mare champion as well as overall mare champion. The mare is by Show Star x Davignon x Rubinstein. She is bred by Robert Weber and owned by Samuel Schmied. She scored 7.63 for the field test, 8.67 for type, 8 for conformation, 8.67 for gaits and 8.44 for exterior. Her total of 24.51 put her at the top o the board.
The second placed mare was GB Lauricci (by Riccione x Laurentio x De Niro), bred by Fritz & Hanni Grunder and owned by A. Koppens-Antonini. She scored 23.83 total points. The champion show jumping mare was Targa Athletic (by Toulon x Carolus x Lysander).
Sixty-one 3-year old mares and evelen 4-year olds received the title of Swiss premium brood mare at the show.
