Two of Spain's most talented young dressage horses, Manchego and Leviton, have been sold by Yeguada San Antonio to Annabelle Collins and Lucas Elias' Barcelona Horses.
Previous owner Antonio Rubio commented that ''my horses are going to a fantastic place where they will be able to go on competition. The new owners said that their immediate aim is going to SICAB and the Spanish Championships. I have to wait, for the time being, the growing and the birth of the twelve foals by Leviton and Manchego. Therefore for some years our stable won't be competing at dressage. I have still 'Ovalo' and 'Opera, both 4-years-old (by Ingenuo IV,) which are going to stay at CAVA to be trained by Víctor Álvarez. Finally I'd like to thank Ángel Dorado for the great work he did with these two horses.''
The 7-year old Levitón ARB' (by Panameño IV) won a gold medal at Sicab as a 4-year old. He won four of eight ompetitions he was entered in. He won silver at the Spanish championships as a 5-year old and as a 6-year old.
The 6-year old Manchego ARB (by Gumiel) won silver at the 2010 Spanish Championships and the gold medal at SICAB. As a 5-year old he competed at the 2011 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany, and revealed himself to be one of the best Andalusian youngsters of his generation. He won the Spanish Young Horse Championships that same year.
