The 5-year old South Africa and the 6-year old WW were the winners in the L- and M-level dressage horse test at the Bundeschampionate qualifier held in Vlotho-Exter on 21 July 2012. Unfortunately none of the participating horses were able to score high enough to qualify for Waredorf.
The 5-year old category was won by Marion Wiebusch aboard the Westfalian mare South Africa (by Sandro Hit x Brentano II). They posted a score of 7.6 and referred Johannes Westendarp on the Oldenburg gelding Julius (by Just Perfect) to a second place (7.5). Carola Koppelmann and Santa Cruz (by San Remo) were third with 7.3.
In the 6-year old M-level dressage horse test (the FEI preliminary test for 6-year olds) Julia Antrecht and the Hanoverian gelding Rescue Ranger (by Rascalino x Don Frederico) topped the leader board with 7.8. German junior rider Leonie Richeter finished second on the Westfalian stallion Babylon (by Belissimo M x Florestan) with 7.3. Professional dressage rider Katrin Bettenworth and the Oldenburg bred Don Camillo B (by Diamond Hit x Saskan) were third with 7.2.
