The KWPN Stallion Licensing committee reviewed ten 3-year old dressage stallions at a second under-saddle presentation in Stegeren, The Netherlands, for their acceptance to the 2012 KWPN Autumn Stallion Performance Testing. Eight of them will participate in the testing.
Ten 3-year old colts, which were licensed in February but had not yet completed the stallion performance test for full grading, were presented in Stegeren. The committee discussed their findings with the stallion owners and decided to accept only eight to the actual testing.
Esperance (by Sorento x Rousseau) was declined permission to begin the testing and the same happened for the 2012 KWPN Licensing reserve champion Expo (by Wynton x Belisar), which was not sound.
For veterinary reasons Easter (by Tuschinski x Ferro), Emerson (by Wynton x Flemmingh x Amor) and Excellent (by Wyntom x Flemming x Cabochon) were not present at the second under-saddle presentation. They get the opportunity to qualify for the 2013 KWPN Spring Performance Testing.
The stallions which were accepted for the 2012 Autumn testing are:
- Eastwood S (by Ampere x Juventus x Michelangelo)
- Exellent (by Negro x Tenerife VDL x Flemmingh)
- Enzo Ferrari Texel (by Painted Black x Krack C x Jazz)
- Elcapone (by UB 40 x OO Seven x Saluut)
- Escobedo (by Vivaldi x Havidoff x Roemer)
- Etoine (by Vivaldi x Balzflug x Amor)
- E (by Vivaldi x Vincent x Apolonios xx)
- Eastpoint (by Westpoint x Negro x Thorwald)
The 2012 KWPN Autumn Performance Testing starts on 6 September 2012. The testing takes 50 days.
