The KWPN society started with the mandatory offspring inspections of the first crop of foals from the recently licensed stallions of the C and D year (2007 - 2008). Yesterday the KWPN licensing committee reviewed the first crops of stallions Cover Story, Dream Boy, Cupido and Diego.
Last year the KWPN revised its offspring inspection method for the benefit of breeders. With the new method, the stallion selection committees inspect ten to twenty foals per stallion plus conduct home-based inspections of an additional 25 foals per stallion, if possible. Stallions whose first crop of foals was born this year participated in the mandatory offspring inspection.
