Swiss Marcela Krinke-Susmelj and Polish Katarzyna Milczarek stole the show at the Central European League World Cup Qualifier in Wroclaw, Poland, where the 2012 Polish Dressage Championships were being held co-incindingly on 14 - 16 September 2012. While Krinke-Susmelj grabbed valuable World Cup points by winning the Grand Prix Kur, Milczarek took the Polish National Grand Prix title by becoming the overall high point scorer.
Krinke-Susmelj saddled Irine Meyer's Danish warmblood gelding Atterupgaards Molberg (by Michellino) and won the Grand Prix ( 70.532%) and CDI-W Kur to Music (73.750%). German based Canadian Pia Fortmuller, who trains with Heike Kemmer at Gestut Amselhof in Walle, finished third in the Grand Prix (68.681%) and second in the Kur (73.375%) aboard her experienced Dutch warmblood gelding Orion (by Jazz).
Zagozd based Katarzyna Milczarek brough two horses to the Polish Championships, of which the championships rounds were merged with the CDI classes. Aboard the Polish bred Holsteiner Ekwador (by Heraldik xx) she took top honours in the Intermediaire II and Grand Prix Special and placed second in the Grand Prix as best Polish rider of the pack. Aboard the 9-year old chestnut mare Florencia B (by Floranius x Davignon I) she was fourth in the Inter II, eight in the Grand Prix and third in the Kur. Michal Rapcewicz is struggling to put the top scores on the board which he used to achieve a few years ago, but his performances on the Polish bred Randon were still good enough for the silver. Lukasz Wituchowski and the 14-year old Westfalian gelding Finest (by Florestan x Ramiroff) grabbed the bronze.
