The 2012 CDI Leudelange at the beginning of September was action packed with classes ranging from young horse level to Grand Prix. The young horse classes were dominated by the 5-year old Dutch warmblood Hexagons Charon and te 6-year olds Galliani Biolley and Fabrix Miss Esandri.
In the 5-year old division the small dark bay stallion Hexagon's Charon (by Rubiquil x Havidoff) stunned the crowds with this uphill and well suspended canter. Under Thamar Zweistra the elastic bay stallion, who could muscle up a bit more on his back and loins, scored winning marks of 8.24 in the preliminary test and 8.56 in the Finals' test.
In the 6-year old division the top spot was hard fought between Belgian duo Katrien Verreet on Brigitte de Biolley's Belgian bred stallion Galliani (by Sir Donnerhall x Lanciano) and Danish pair Fie Skarsoe on the Danish mare Fabrix Miss Esandri (by Sandro King x Quilted xx). In the preliminary test Galliani Biolley surfaced at the top with an 8.02 score, while in the Finals test Luxembourg based Skarsoe steered the elegant bay mare Miss Esandri to a winning score of 8.12.
