Danish Vibeke Degn Andersen has decided to resign from her position as Danish Pony Team trainer after 10 years on the job. Degn Andersen has been instrumental in the success of the Danish pony team.
Vibeke, also known as "Vibsen" will stay on duty until a new team trainer has been found. She will continue to contribute her expertise to the development of Danish pony dressage.
"I had 10 fantastic years with the pony riders, nothing less," said Degn Andersen. "It was a privilege to be so close and take part in the development of our sport. It is really satisfying to see the riders at top level, which I saw develop in their pony years. Danish pony dressage is in excellent shape and I want to stop at the highpoint, when there is strong material to pass on."
Degn Andersen will continue to train riders at her own yard, which she founded with Bo Bak Andersen in 1978.
