Hannah Biggs and Louise Davies from Platinum Stud have combined in ownership of one of the top two fillies of Great Britain, Platinum Born this Way, a striking dark brown filly with an incredible breeding line by Benetton Dream out of Davinia by Don Davidoff.

This filly comes from the famous Caprice dam line in Germany. With such tremendous talent we all know what the future will hold for this promising team.

“I wanted to invest in my future with a top quality youngster that I believe will go on to be my next grand prix horse and has the necessary talent to represent Great Britain on championship teams. Her 'look at me' attitude, and her fabulous conformation. I loved her elegant long legs and stunning head. She is a real beauty queen with outstanding paces to match. I believe she has the whole package and has that star factor that will help her stand out in the dressage arena!” – Hannah Biggs.

‘Platinum Born This Way’, also known as Bunny is the perfect match for Hannah. Hannah will bring this youngster on with the help of Oxfordshire based Emile Faurie. Emile has vast experience training many horses up to grand Prix and has competed for many years internationally at Olympic & European Championships. Hannah has been training together with Emile for many years now and has a great working relationship.

“I like his honest approach that I can trust as he tells me when it's good and when's it's not so good! The horses health and welfare is a top priority for Emile. Happy horses make for willing athletes. He also has a lot of experience with different types of horses and can apply different techniques to each individual” – Hannah Biggs.

Hannah has produced many successful young horses herself but, has said it is always an advantage to have someone on the ground to bounce ideas and thoughts off and keep you on the ideal training path.

Louise is extremely happy with Hannah bringing Bunny on in the dressage world, and is said to be very excited with what the future will bring for them both.

"Platinum Stud are extremely proud and very excited that Hannah Biggs has chosen our Elite filly 'Platinum Born This Way' to be her new Grand Prix prospect. We are a small stud, who pride ourselves in breeding world class dressage young stock and are very pleased, to now have a UK GP rider on our team. Our goal has been to sell to professional riders, who will take our youngsters to the top of their game and for the short time we have been going, we have been very successful in doing that, but having a top UK rider on board is the icing on the cake and we look forward to supporting Hannah and Bunny in the future," said Louise Davies of Platinum Stud.

Hannah has progressed through the Junior and Young Riders teams, having worked hard with her top horse Weltzin, training him from a young horse up to grand Prix and they have been competing successfully now at international big tour. They have enjoyed top placings at many CDI's and we were selected to represent Great Britain at the Nations Cup in Aachen CDIO. Hannah also got married this year, so it's been a busy few months!

Like all top riders Hannah has worked hard to get where she is, going through many selection trails and tough interviews, it is a long process before a rider can be selected for world class. The British Equestrian Foundation announces applications every two years so the advice from the professionals is to look on-line at www.bef.co.uk if you are trying to get into world class.
