The dressage horse collection of the Performance Sales International in Ankum on December 8 and 9 is beyond compare: The collection features 26 carefully selected horses in total, among them the FEI World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses, Sa Coeur. Six former auction horses competed in the World Cup in Odense in Denmark last weekend
, and the five-year-old, black-brown Duty Free by Danone – Sunny Boy delighted everybody…
Denmark’s championship rider Andreas Helgstrand presented Duty Free in the arena, but he had problems right in the beginning as the buckle of the reins opened right when the rider wanted to launch a convincing performance. Although not being asked for it, Duty Free did the only right thing he could in these circumstances and looked at the laughing audience with interest, while waiting calmly for Helgstrand to successfully re-attached his reins and buckle…. That’s how we love our horses! There were many compliments on the brilliant performances of the P.S.I. sextet in Odense from horse people everywhere and a number of potential customers were interested in knowing more about them..
The “equine jewels” chosen by Ullrich Kasselmann and Paul Schockemöhle for the P.S.I. Auction in Ankum are aged three to five. Sa Coeur is certainly a star of the collection. Solo Feliz is a three-year-old black Oldenburg stallion and half brother to the Federal Champion Soiree d’Amour. He already completed his stallion performance test. The four-year-old Belessiano by Belissimo M – Hohenstein is half brother to the former Federal Champion Blickpunkt and shows an exemplary rideability.
