The Dressage Canada Coaching Committee has canceelled the 2012 National Dressage Symposium scheduled for 24 and 26 November 2012 due to a number of unforeseen and unexpected circumstances. The event will be postponed to next year.
The symposium was set to take place at Thunderbird Show Park in Langley (BC) on 24 November and at Pine Ridge Farm, King City (ON) on 26 November, but wil now be rescheduled for October 2013.
Dressage Canada's Technical Leader of the high performance program, Markus Gribbe, was one of the keynote speakers at the event, but the German Grand Prix rider announced last weekend that he resigns from this position due to a too busy schedule.
The Canadian equestrian federation (EC) announced that one of the lead clinicians at the 2013 symposium will be multiple Canadian Olympian and Olympic team bronze medalist Ashley Holzer.
