The 5-year old mare Dame de Pique (by Diamond Hit x Florestan) became the best selling horse at the 2013 Westfalian Winter Auction in Munster, Germany, on 20 January 2013.
Already successful at competitions, Dame de Pique sold for 65,000 euro to Estonian international Grand Prix rider Grete Barake, who is based in Germany.
The second most expensive horse was the 5-year old Rocklady (by Rock Forever x Favretto) which sold for 25,000 euro. This mare has been competed by Ann Christin Wienkamp.
The 3-year old stallion Soleil (by San Amour x Fleurop) switched owners for 20,000 euro.
Thirty-five sport horses and thirteen 3-year old colts were sold at this auction. The average price for a sport horse was 10,500 euro and for a youngster 10,300 euro.
