Estelle Wettstein's FEI dressage pony mare Championess II has been sold to Germany. The parents of the 13-year old Lana Raumanns have acquired the chestnut mare from the Wettstein family.

The 8-year old German Riding pony mare Championess II is by Champion de Luxe out of a Dornik B dam. As a 3-year old the mare won the 2008 Bundeschampionate Finals in the riding pony mares and geldings class under Wibke Stommel. One month later the pony sold at the 2008 Westfalian Autum Elite Auction to Austrian Sissy Max-Theurer for 32,000 euro.

Max-Theurer left the mare in Germany and in 2009 Stommel competed her again to earn the silver medal at the 2009 Bundeschampionate. In 2010 Max-Theurer initially gave the ride on Championess to Estelle Wettstein from Switzerland but Estelle's parents bought the pony a bit later.

Estelle Wettstein was very successful on this mare, winning some pony classes at the 2012 CDIO-P Moorsele for instance. For the European Pony Championships, Wettstein each time chose to ride her other pony Nice Blue Eyes.

Championess II has now been sold to Germany. The 13-year old Lana Raumanns will continue her career. Raumanns is the Hessian Regional Champion aboard FEI pony Djaufaila and competed at her first international in Babenhausen in 2012.
