First Training Seminar with New Coach for Danish FEI Pony Riders

The Danish Equestrian Federation is hosting its first Danish pony team training seminar with brand new pony team trainer Jette Nevermann Torup on 9 - 10 February 2013. The next weekend the junior and young riders will gather with team coach Ulrik Sørensen.

The focus will be on the individual combinations as well as sport psychology, the connection with the parents and more.

Sixteen pony riders have been invited for the pony seminar in Middelfart on 9 - 10 February. The invited riders are Sandra Kristoffersen, Nana Gajhede, Sandra Hyrm, Caroline Elsner, Kristine Månsson, Anne Sofie Sørensen, Nicole Johnsen, Simone Fersner,
Sandra Gottlieb Lyngø, Anne-Mette Lyager, Anne-Sofie Kystol Knudsen,
Sille Engermann, Maria Christensen, Victoria Vallentin, Nikoline Ravn
Jensen and Kristine Koch.

On Saturday the pony riders will ride a test in front of judge Kurt Christensen as well as get a session with sport psychologist Louise Sonne Schellerup. On Sunday the pony riders will be helped with presenting their ponies properly for a vet check at international shows as well as have individual training with Nevermann Torup. Equine physiotherapist Gitte Søby will talk about core stability for horse and rider.

Danish Junior and Young Riders team traiend Ulrik Sørensen will be heading a similar seminar at the Midtsjælland riding club on 16 February and at the Middelfart Equestrian centre on 17 February.
