The Nurnberger Burgpokal, the official show circuit leading to the German Developing Prix St Georges Horse Finals in Frankfurt, has set out its 2013 qualifiers and announced their show schedule for this year.
The Nurnberger Burgpokal is a competition circuit for 7 to 9-year old dressage horses competing at Prix St Georges level. It is used as a stepping stone between the 6-year old dressage horse tests and the classic Prix St Georges tour.
Between May and November 203 fifteen qualifiers are being held throughout Germany. The winning horse at each qualifier is eligible to compete in the Finals held at the Frankfurt Indoor Show in December.
The 2012 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals were won by young rider Charlott Maria Schurmann who beat a string of German dressage professionals on her 9-year old Hanoverian stallion Burlington (by Breitling x Rohdiamant).
