Dutch A and B-Teams Gather at First Squad Meeting with Wim Ernes

The Dutch Olympic A-team and B-team gathered at a first squad meeting with brand new Dutch team trainer Wim Ernes in Papendal, The Netherlands, on 5 February 2013.

This first technical meeting, in which plans towards the 2016 Rio Olympic Games were laid out, ended with a team building session in which the riders made chocolate bon bons together.

Wim Ernes discussed the sportive goals for the upcoming season, including highlights such as the 2013 World Cup Finals in Gothenburg and 2013 European Championships in Herning. Bernadet van Os of the Dutch Olympic Committee High Performance Services spoke about video techniques applicable to competitions, training and evaluation sessions.

The current Dutch A and B-team members are Adelinde Cornelissen, Edward Gal, Patrick van der Meer, Hans Peter Minderhoud, Imke Schellekens-Bartels, Marlies van Baalen, Danielle Heijkoop, Stephanie Peters, Diederik van Silfhout and Madeleine Witte-Vrees.
