The Australian equestrian federation (EA) announced on 27 March 2013 that Dressage Selector Maria Schwennesen has resigned from her position.
Just one week ago Equestrian Australia announced that veteran selector Maria was re-appointed for an additional four year term. Today the federation notified the press that Schwennesen has decided to step down for her own personal reasons.
EA will now commence a process to replace Maria on the three person Dressage Selection Panel and look to make an appointment promptly.
Maria Schwennesen, who has been a national dressage selector since 2005, hails from Queensland and is an FEI 4* judge.
