The 2013 CDI Sydney will not have a Prix St Georges Derby Team Competition this year. In its place, Australia and New Zealand will stage a friendly Team competition with representatives from each country competing in the Intermediate I, Intermediate I Freestyle and the CDI-Y competitions.
Friendly rivalry between Australia and New Zealand has existed at the Sydney CDI since its inception and with both teams being highly competitive; the contest is going to be close with New Zealand having the backing of a lively supporter contingent.
