In the penultimate CHIO Cup selection trial at Stable Olympic in Uden on Saturday 13 April 2013, junior rider Jasmien de Koeyer and young rider Stephanie Kooijman topped the leader board for a second consecutive time as they were also the leaders in the previous qualifier in Roosendaal.
De Koeyer and Tim Coomans' 13-year old chestnut Dutch warmblood Take it Easy (by Florestan x Castro) produced a whopping score of 74.05% to reign supreme in the junior division. Jeanine Nieuwenhuis and the 7-year old KWPN gelding Baldacci (by Havidoff) followed in second place with 72.61%. 2012 European Pony Champion Rosalie Bos made a seamless transition to junior level and finished third with 69.41% on Ultiem (by Gribaldi).
In the young riders' division experience counted as the top three was filled by long-time Dutch team riders. Stephanie Kooijman and her tall Dutch warmblood gelding Winston (by OO Seven) scored a staggering 75.57% to finish in the number one position, followed by Anne Meulendijks on the black gelding Ohio (by Indoctro) with 72.85%. Danielle Houtvast and Rambo (by Gribaldi) were third with 71.97%.
Judge Jan Peeters commented that, "Winston is a horse with a very strong trot and canter and the test was technically really good. Her riding looks automatic." About the runner up, Peeters remarked that, "Anne rode a very strong test, maybe a better one than Stephanie. She rode her test very meticulously, which is also very important." Peeters believed that Houtvast's test started a bit "hesitant" but then "she recovered well. The canter was really strong."
