Junior rider Sanne Vos and young rider Stephanie Kooijman won the final qualifier of the 2012-2013 KNHS CHIO Cup show circuit. The sixth qualifier was held in Heilo, The Netherlands, on Sunday 12 May 2013. A modest group of sixteen juniors and fourteen young riders gathered at this event for the final opportunity to collect points for the CHIO Cup ranking.
The junior riders' division was won by 2012 European Pony champion Sanne Vos, who made the transition to horses with the bay Dutch warmblood mare Amazone (by United). Scoring 68.92, Vos topped the leader board and referred Sanne Gilbers on the German bred Bud Spencer (by Biotop) to second place with 67.12. Aimee Weise and her tall bay Dutch warmblood gelding Sportlife (by Montecristo) slotted in third with 67.12 and this pair tied with Jeanine Nieuwenhuis on Hexagons Conquest (by Rubiquil) on the same score.
In the Young Riders' division Holland's number one young rider Stephanie Kooijman and Winston (by OO Seven) were unable to crack the 70% barrier but her 69.61% earning test sufficed for the victory. Debora Pijpers and her second ride, Look at Him (by Likoto xx) finished in a strong second place with 68.95%, while seasoned competitor Anne Meulendijks was third with 67.68% on her Dutch warmblood Ohio (by Indoctro).
