The 5-year old Leeds United and the 6-year old Serenissima RH were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the smaller regional show in Willich, Germany, on . Sixteen combinations gathered at the Willich Summer Dressage Festival to contest the L and M-level dressage horse test.
Local professional dressage rider Jana Freund competed three horses in the 5-year old division and won the class aboard Leeds United, a Lord Loxley x Ocamonte xx offspring. The pair scored 7.7 for victory but that mark did not suffice to obtain an entry ticket for Warendorf. Janine Ebben and Lord Lucky (by Lord Loxley x Lancer II) were second with 7.6. They tied with Leslie Rohrbacher and her chestnut Hanoverian Lagerfeld (by Londontime x Don Crusador).
In the 6-year old division Lydia Camp steered the Rhinelander mare Serenissima RH (by Sir Donnerhall I x Fidermark) to victory with a solid 8.1 score. She edged out Martin Pfeiffer on Rihanna Forever (by Rock Forever x Tin Rocco). The duo became the runners-up with 7.7 and tied with Dominique Schlosser on Edelmann von Hagen (by Ehrenwort x Ladero).
