Tinne Vilhelmson's long time sponsor Antonia Ax:son Johnson has acquired the 9-year old licensed Hanoverian stallion Benettom Dream. The dark bay stallion will be prepared for the Grand Prix by Vilhelmson as well as stand at stud at Lovsta Stutteri in Sweden.
"This is a very talented horse with a lot of qualities and I’m honoured to get to work with him," Vilhelmson commented. "He has a fantastic approach to work and is very supple to ride. I’m also delighted that we’ve found a stallion which will work for both competition and breeding."
Under Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn, Benetton Dream (by Brentano II x Rotspon x Davignon x Weltmeyer) made headlines when he won the 2007 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf as a 3-year old. The same year the stallion also won the stallion performance test in Schlieckau with an overall score of 8.52. Afterwards the stallion switched riders and was campaigned by Holga Finken and Yvonne Reiser.
"His sire Brentano II is one of the top ten dressage stallions in the world and in his dam-line you find both Rubinstein I and Donnerhall. It’s a winning combination," said Malin Cohlin, manager of the Lövsta Stud station.
In 2012 the Hamburg based company Kanganya GmbH acquired Benetton Dream and gave the horse back to Fiebelkorn to ride. He did six national competitions at Prix St Georges level in Germany. He won five and came in second once. He has been shown in three Intermediaire II and young horse Grand Prix tests so far. In July 2013 the horse was pulled away from Fiebelkorn and put in training with Juliane Brunkhorst. Now he has moved again, this time to Sweden in Swedish ownership.
Benetton Dream FRH will be shown at the Swedish stallion testing in February 2014. So far, he has three licensed offspring.
