Event classification system for Jumping, FEI footing project, sustainability programme, FEI online entry system, Endurance strategic plan, progress report on the World Equestrian Games 2014, and a Vaulting round table will be on the Forum’s agenda.

ALLOCATION OF CHAMPIONSHIPS AND FINALS

The venues for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 FEI Championships & Finals were also allocated as follows:

2014: European Championship for Ponies (Jumping, Dressage & Eventing), Millstreet (IRL), July (16-20 July)
2015: The bid for the European Championship for Ponies (Jumping, Dressage & Eventing) was re-opened.
2016: Further to the exemption granted by the Swedish Board of Agriculture to run all major FEI events until the end of 2017 in accordance with the FEI Veterinary Regulations, which differ from the national regulations in Sweden, the FEI Bureau formally allocated the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Final and FEI World CupTM Dressage Final to Gothenburg from 23 to 28 March 2016.

The FEI Bureau noted this breakthrough exemption with satisfaction, especially in view of the fact that the Swedish authorities acknowledged the FEI’s high welfare standards, approach and supporting systems in place.
