Ulla Salzgeber has been resubmitted to the German A-team following outstanding results since her come back with the previously injured Herzruf's Erbe. Anabel Balkenhol has been dropped to the B-team.
The German Equestrian Federation released the list of the updated teams with Salzgeber as new comer to the A-team. Especially her results aboard the 14-year old Rhinelander gelding at the CDI-W Stuttgart earned her spot on the A-team.
Balkenhol has not competed Dablino (by De Niro) since August 2013 and her horse has been removed entirely from any team. She is now listed on the B-team with Diamonds Forever. The teams are selected by the Dressage Committee of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR).
The German A-team now includes:
- Nadine Capellmann - Girasol
- Helen Langehanenberg - Damon Hill
- Fabienne Lütkemeier - D’Agostino
- Kristina Sprehe - Desperados
- Isabell Werth - Don Johnson FRH, Bella Rose and El Santo NRW
The German B-team includes:
- Anabel Balkenhol - Diamonds Forever
- Uta Gräf - Le Noir and Dandelion
- Ingrid Klimke - Dresden Mann
- Christoph Koschel - Rostropowitsch NRW and Rubin Cortes OLD
- Jenny Lang - Loverboy
- Hubertus Schmidt - Imperio
- Dorothee Schneider - Forward Looking
- Brigitte Wittig - Biagiotti W
- Jessica Werndl von Bredow - Unee BB
Wolfram Wittig declined a position on the B-team.
The German B2-team includes the German prespective group Under 25 riders:

- Jan Herrmann - D’accord
- Nadine Husenbeth - Florida
- Victoria Michalke - Dance on und Pavarotti
- Sanneke Rothenberger - Favourit and Wolke Sieben

Stella Charlott Roth is no longer member of the B2-team because her Olympic mount Diva Royal sustained a severe injury in the winter of 2012-2013 and has not yet made a come back.
