German B-team Grand Prix rider Uta Gräf has a new young, talented prospect in her barn, the 5-year old Westfalian registered Deliano W.
The Westfalian branded Deliano W is by Dream On out of State Premium mare Way of Life (by Wolkentanz II x Andiamo) and is bred by the Wilhelmer family. He sold as a foal to Gut Heinrichshof, but Petra Wilhelmer re-acquired him when that yard gave up keeping youngsters.
Deliabo W made his competition debut as a 4-year old under Henrike Sommer. In 2013 the black gelding was competed by Christine Baackmann and breeder Petra Wilhelmer. He qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf but did not compete there.
Wilhelmer offered to ride on Deliano W to Uta Graf this autumn and she happily accepted. The horse arrived at Uta's yard in November and has now been sold to Dr. Hitschold, who also owns Gräf's medal winning Damon Jerome (by Damon Hill x Guy Laroche).
