It was slim pickings at the 2013 Hanoverian Late Licensing for young colts and older stallions in Verden, Germany, on 10 December 2013. Only six young dressage colts and two older dressage stallions received a positive verdict and are allowed to breed for the Hanoverian society.
All stallions were first presented in hand on hard surface, followed by free jumping indoors as well as an under saddle presentation. Each stallion was then walked in hand when the verdict was announced.
Amongst the older colts presented at the late licensing, only two dressage colts passed the test. They are Fiderbach (by Fidertanz x Baroncelli) and First Choice (by Jazz x Negro).
Very few 3 and 2,5 year old colts were able to impress the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing committee. Six dressage bred colts were accepted, including the Westfalian Licensing Champion Rock For Me.
The licensed colts are:
- Bailando (by Breitling W x Rohdiamant)
- nn (by Delamanga x Lancer II)
- nn (by Rock Forever x Florestan)
- Rock For Me (by Rock Forever x Florencio)
- Rock Amour (by Rock Forever x Lanciano)
- nn (by Royal Highness x Florestan)
The 2-year old Thoroughbred Asagao xx (by Tertullian xx x Tagel xx) was also licensed.
