2013-2014 KNHS FEI Pony Cup

The 2013-2014 KNHS FEI Pony Cup show circuit for Dutch FEI pony riders kicked off on 30 December 2013 with the first selection trial held at equestrian centre De Kroo in Nieuw en Sint Joostland, The Netherlands. Holland's reigning FEI pony pair Lisanne Zoutendijk and Champ of Class won the first leg of the new season's FEI Pony Cup.

Zoutendijk and her experienced buckskin gelding Champ of Class (by Champion de Luxe) topped the leader board with 70.64% but only narrowly edged out Veronique van der Panne on her buckskin Dutch bred pony Rhyfedd Spike (by Veenstra's Promise). This pair posted a score of 69.57% and had Dutch pony team rider Demy Kurstjens on her second ride Nina van de Beekerheide (by Neptune) on her heels with 69.23%.

Dutch team rider Joelle Peters finished fourth aboard Haasendonk's Sultan (by Nieuwmoeds Patrick) with 68.97%, while Daphne van Peperstraten on the Dutch bred Don Camillo du Bois (by Dornick B) completed the top five of the ranking with 67.44%.

The second leg takes place on 11 January 2014 in Assen, The Netherlands. The KNHS FEI Pony Cup is an important Dutch show circuit which counts as observation trial for Dutch pony team selection.
