Four renowned show venues have filed their candidacy with the German Equestrian Federation to host the Dressage Nations' Cup in Germany in 2015 after the CDI Lingen withdrew from staging the event.
At a team meeting in Warendorf, Germany on 4 February 2014 the German Equestrian Federation revealed that four venues are now in the running to host the CDIO
Nations' Cup in Germany in 2015.
Traditionally the CHIO Aachen annually stages the CDIO in Germany but in 2015 the world famous horse event is hosting the European
Championships and has therefore dropped the CDIO.
Originally Lingen was supposed to host the Nations' Cup, but financial woes forced the
Lingen show organizers to cancel the 2014 event, making the 2015
edition insecure.
Four show organizers have now stepped up to the
plate and offered their candidacy to host the 2015 CDIO in Germany. The
locations are Hagen, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart and Donaueschingen.
