The chestnut approved stallion Gobarde E (by Bretton Woods x Scandic) became the price highlight of the 2014 KWPN Select Sale of licensed and non-licensed stallions at the 2014 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, on Saturday 8 February 2014.
The Bretton Woods offspring, which is accepted for the Stallion Performance Testing, sold for 85,000 euro.
Even though the 2014 KWPN Select Sale was unable to achieve a price over 100,000 euro like all the big auctions at the German licensings, the average price was little over 35,000 euro.
The second most expensive horse was Gibson (by Jazz x Lingh) was sold for 78,000 euro to Russian Nataliya Bronnikova, who also owns the KWPN licensed Etoile (by Don Schufro).
Rob van Puijenbroek of brood farm De Begijnhoeve in Belgium acquired Genesis (by Jazz x Silvano N) for 75,000 euro.
Glamour Boy (by Bojengel x Jazz) was bought by Carolyn de Roo of President Stables for 58,000 euro, while Gironn L (by Uphill x Ferro) sold for 44,000 euro to Austrian Gaston Glock.
The most expensive jumper was Gregor (by Quidam de Revel x Chin Chin) which achieved a knock down price of 58,000 euro.
