Dressage fashion icon Silvia Rizzo has started a new clothing line, Stylish Rider (for Silvia Rizzo). Rizzo, known for her sophisticated glamour, designed a shirt that is bold, flattering and encompasses her aesthetic vision.
The Italian Grand Prix rider is excited to debut the first article in her soon-to-be series of equestrian apparel: a form-flattering, heavy cotton polo shirt, imported from Italy and available for purchase immediately. The navy blue polo breaks away from tradition with a long, flirty five-button placket. The left chest corner sports a logo representing the three disciplines of show jumping, dressage and eventing to appeal to a variety of riders.
Rizzo, proud of her Italian heritage and U.S. presence, incorporated a flag on each sleeve - USA's on the left, Italy's on the right. Across the back, the number three is championed in large print.
"In Italy, three is the luckiest number," she said. "It represents perfection."
Under the number three, 'Equestrian Team' is emblazoned to transcend disciplines, encompassing the entire equestrian community.
