As per Equestrian Australia's 2014 World Equestrian Games selection policy for dressage, the eight horse and rider combinations that form the WEG long list will go head to head at two European events in a bid to secure one of the four positions on Australia's dressage team for WEG.
Equestrian Australia can reveal the two events that the eight horse and rider combinations will contest are:
- Fritzens CDI4* (AUT) from 4-6 July 2014
- Deauville CDI3* (FRA) from 25-27 July.
The average Grand Prix score of each rider from both events will be used to rank the combinations with the top four to form Australia’s team for WEG.
