The 2014 CDI Hagen kicked off with a big bang as a a huge field of 29 competitors contested the 1* Prix St Georges class on Wednesday 23 April 2014. German Under 25 rider Victoria Michalke and the 8-uear old Bavarian bred mare Novia (by Stedinger x Alabaster) topped the leader board with 73.388%.
Australian Mary Hanna, whose over in Europea as she was the Pacific League World Cup winner and rode the Finals in Lyon last week, started her 8-year old Dutch warmblood Boogie Woogie (by Du Moulin x Florett As) at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen and placed second with 72.336%.
German young rider team member Charlotte Maria Schurmann and the 9-year old Hanoverian stallion Edward (by Embassy I x Fabrian) were third with 71.974%. Her trainer Oliver Oelrich ranked right behind her on the 9-year old Oldenburg stallion Floriscount (by Florencio x Donnerhall) with 71.776%.
