In her quest to grab all significant dressage titles in the world, British star rider Charlotte Dujardin and her number one horse Valegro will be competing at the 2014 CDIO Aachen to become the Aachen Grand Champions and be listed on the wall of fame there amongst the sport's greats.
Dujardin is already the ruling Olympic and European Champion and recently added World Cup winner to that list. One championship title, that of World champion, and one prestigious feat, becoming Aachen Grand Champion, are still missing on her list.
Currently the world record holder in the Grand Prix, Special and Kur, Dujardin will be able to snatch both coveted titles the in a two month time-frame as the CDIO Aachen is scheduled in July and one month later the 2014 World Equestrian Games will take place in Caen, France.
"It's good that we expanded the capacity of the stadium by building extra seating," Aachen show director Frank Kemperman quipped.
