The Dutch equestrian federation and Dutch team trainer and chef d'equipe Tineke Bartels have announced the two teams that will represent The Netherlands at the 2014 European Junior and Young Riders Championships in Arezzo, Italy, on 11 - 15 July 2014.
The Dutch youth riders had to ride themselves in the picture at national observation events in the CHIO Cup circuit, international shows and at selection trials in Roosendaal, Arnheim and Rotterdam for team selection.
Bartels selected the following teams:
Dutch Junior Riders team:
- Rosalie Bos – Bolita (by Uptown)
- Jasmien de Koeyer – Take it Easy (by Florestan I)
- Lotte Meulendijks – Tom Tom Go (by Cabochon)
- Jeanine Nekeman – Vlingh (by Flemmingh)
The junior reserve is Marjan Hooge on Fulltime (by Fidermark)
Dutch Young Riders team:
- Stephanie Kooijman – Winston (by OO Seven)
- Anne Meulendijks – MDH Avanti (by United)
- Jeanine Nieuwenhuis – Hexagon’s Baldacci (by Havidoff)
- Denise Nekeman – Boston (by Johnson)
The young riders reserve is Maxime van der Vlist on Bailey (by Negro)
