Russian routinier Elena Sidneva and her 13-year old Hanoverian stallion Romeo Star (by Romantic Star x Mister A) were all the way in front in the World Cup qualifier at the 2014 CDI-W Brno in the Czech Republic on 20 - 22 June 2014. The Russian duo won the Grand Prix with 70.980% and the World Cup kur with 75.100% well ahead of all competition.
The international show in Brno attracted a big field of competitors from Eastern Europe and, Austria. The Grand Prix Special tour, which featured 8 combinations in total, was won by Jerich sponsored rider Heimo Kendlbacher on the bay gelding Ehrengold, whereas Sidneva reigned supreme in the Kur tour.
At small tour level Czech rider Sarka Charvatova produced a hattrack aboard her 15-year old Dutch warmblood stallion Saint Tropez (by Welt Hit II x Zonneglans). She scored 68.579% in the Prix St Georges, 69.789% in the Intermediaire I and 72.075% in the Inter I kur to music.
